Wii U Releasing Week of Black Friday?
There are some new rumors circulating on the alleged release date for the Nintendo Wii U. The newest of which comes from a GameStop employee from New Jersey.
In this batch of rumors, the Wii U is listed at a Black Friday week release date. This would certainly fuel the console to a great start as Black Friday opens holiday shopping in America. The GameStop employee also stated that Wii U pre-orders will begin sometime next week.
Lastly, games such as Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition, are listed at $49.99. A screenshot from the store console is provided which seems to list the majority of Wii U games at 50 dollars. These listings are often placeholders, however the employee has stated they are indeed real pricing for the games.
I certainly hope the Wii U is released near Black Friday. A strong holiday season is exactly what Nintendo needs to prove the Wii U is for real.
