Many reports are suggesting that Sony and Microsoft will be implementing a ban on used games on their next generation consoles. However, the speculation can be pushed aside for Nintendo. In a recent announcement from Scott Moffitt of NOA, it was stated,

“We haven’t incorporated any features that will discourage used game sales at this point. We’re not trying to circumvent that.”

A used game ban is something that is detrimental to most gamers. It would prevent users from borrowing games, playing a game on a different console, and buying cheaper used games. Thankfully Nintendo understands this concept and will allow Wii U games to be ran on more than one console.
