Monolith Soft Debuts New Wii U RPG
In their latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Iwata, Nintendo’s president, revealed a new RPG by Xenoblade Chronicles developer, Monolith.
There were very few details provided about this untitled RPG with the exception of some minor footage. The combat system and gameplay is seemingly comparable to Xenoblade Chronicles. Some of the footage indicated that multiplayer may be included. The game features a fantasy themed visual approach with a hint of mecha based technology.
While no name was released for the game, the giant red “X” at the end of the footage may indicate that the game is another entry into the Xenoblade franchise.
